HK INTERFACE
According to the requests of international companies which set up in Madagascar with a view to making major investments in Madagascar, HK-INTERFACE was created in 2009. Its first tasks were to manage the salaries of expatriates (American, South African, Canadian, Australian, Filipino, Indian, Thai,) and Malagasy employees, for these same companies.
Since then, the scope of operations of HK-INTERFACE has widened. It processes the payroll of any company registered in Madagascar, whatever its form, subsidiary or branch, and whatever its service sector of activity : agricultural or non-agricultural, industrial or the scheme to which it belongs (Subcontractor of the Ambatovy project, Common law regime, Free enterprise).
- Centralization and updating of data relating to the Employer and its employees.
- Monitoring the end of trial periods and fixed-term employment contracts.
- The collection and processing of fixed and variable elements of wages.
- Processing and monitoring of absences and leaves.
- Editing pay slips and archiving them, after delivery to employees.
- Transmission of the payroll to the Employer.
The calculation, preparation of declarations and payment of the Income Tax and Similar (IRSA).
- Completion of all formalities required for payment of the IRSA.
- Employer registration, upon incorporation and affiliation of employees, upon hiring.
- The establishment and submission of the notice of poaching (upon the final departure of each employee).
- The establishment of the information letter of the inter-company medical service upon the departure of an employee.
- Calculation, preparation of declarations and payment of social charges to social welfare and workers’ health organizations.
Special works for expatriates under an employment contract with a resident company:
Conversion of the net salary stipulated in foreign currencies (US $ or Euros) into gross salary in Ariary, the legal currency in Madagascar.
HK-Interface can take the necessary steps to obtain the IRSA payment certificate, required during the renewal formalities of the expatriate worker’s long-stay visa or requested by the tax services of his country of origin.
